Virtual SAN 6.2 and Proactive Tests

Virtual SAN 6.2 introduces a new Performance Service that not only adds plenty of performance related charts to the Web Client (without needing to rely on the VSAN Observer) but it also adds
Proactive Tests to test the Virtual SAN cluster prior to putting it in Production.

How to run Proactive Tests:

1. Select your Virtual SAN cluster and select the Monitor tab.

2. Find Proactive Tests.

3. Select one of the many tests available

4. Click on the green arrow to run the test.

Notice you can select different tests and different policies. The default is to run the test for 10 minutes. Carefully notice the options in the capture below.
